This is Genevieve

(Sheer detailed Blouse)

There will be no debating this one - these shots from This is Genevieve's most recent collection are utterly gorgeous. We've just received these pictured pieces in to Down Yonder and can't wait for it to stop hailing (no joke!) so we can slip on some of this summery goodness.

(we have this both in plain black and in navy stripes)

This is just the first lot of many more pieces to come from the talented Australian designer Genevieve Er.
(The perfect peachy keen sundress)

We are also able to do special orders for this label - so if anything takes your fancy that we don't have (the horror!) then we can certainly try to get it in for you. The things we do for you, huh?

DASH & WILL

We have baby girl-crushes on the very talented Dash & Will - skillful songwriters and performers that are making their home town of Melbourne proud.

The girls were recently featured in Fashion Journal wearing clothes from Down Yonder! We've been working our styling magic on the girls for their upcoming gigs and appearances on Nickelodeon TV.

Don't they look gorgeous? Check out their Myspace for touring dates by clicking here. We can't wait to see them in our threads on stage at Ding Dong tomorrow night!

TRISTAN BLAIR

Welcome to Shoe Heaven. Have you got the feet to make it through the Pearly Gates? Maybe you need a bit of a pedicure first, hmmm?

Regardless of callouses, ingrown toenails, chipped nail polish and all other things gross, Australian shoe designer Tristan Blair is sure to make your feet look their very best. His divine handcrafted creations are known to grace the pages of Russh, Vogue and Harper's - and it isn't hard to see why.

Down Yonder is - wait for it - the sole stockist for TB shoes in Victoria. Yup - we've got the monopoly, baby! We have just had four lovely flat styles arrive in time for Summer.

Jewellery Luv

(One Luv)

Oh, Ms. Jewellery. Without you, we'd be lost for what to buy our friends at the last moment on (sometimes forgotten?) birthdays. Luckily, we've just had a huge new drop of jewellery from One Luv and Dervish.

(One Luv)

Dervish Jewellery make some gorgeous intricate pieces completely from hand! Get yourself a one-off necklace, ring or pair of earrings currently in stock.

(Dervish)

One Luv also produce the sweetest charm necklaces on an assortment of gold, silver and nickel chains. Some of the charms - such as the fan, rubic cube, sand-timer, compass and handcuffs - are working little mechanisms that make for fun presents. The best thing about One Luv is the price - these little sweethearts start from 30 bucks a pop.

(One Luv)

Come Down Yonder to have a try of these styles and many more other newies. We'll even giftwrap them for you - not that you'll actually want to give them away!

Recycle. Reuse. Radness.

Since the label's debut nine years ago, One Teaspoon has been known most notably for super easy and vintage inspired denim pieces. The Australian label is now taking things one step further with a denim range made entirely from pre-loved salvaged denim.

(Salvage Recycled Denim Shorts)

The entire SRD range has been recut, stitched and branded to bring you shorts and mini-skirts that look great but are friendly to our mother earth. Each little guy is slightly different from the next and has his own fading, colour and wear. The best bit about it is that second-hand denim equates to second-hand prices: saving the planet doesn't cost anything over ninety dollars.

(Cobra Bodysuit in Leopard Print)

We also have this AMAZING One Teaspoon leopard print body-suit which is perfect as the weather starts to warm up a bit (thank god). The in-built cups give a girl that little bit of extra shape and means we can all burn our bras like our mothers before us.

Leather Love from a Friend of Mine

Yup... It's finally here!

(Jagger Jacket & Wedge Laced Boots)

To say that Melbourne label Friend of Mine has been receiving a bit of anticipatory public interest would be an understatement. Let's be honest: we've been beating them off with a stick!

(Shambles Leather Skirt)

Nothing justifies a bit of fanaticism like the leather pieces seen in the label's debut collection, Opposites Attract. We haven't gone many a day without a fevered enquiry in to the cult Leather Wedge boots or the amazing Jagger Leather jacket with studs.

(Amelia Jacket & Wedged Zipper Boots)

Friend of Mine leather will go crazy. Come Down Yonder this week or give us a bell on 9826 5400 to reserve your very own little wardrobe friend.

Looking for Something Else?

Oh, Melbourne Winter. Why do you always give us the blues? The skies are pouring, our shoes are wet, and our hair is Farrah Fawcett-ed from gale force winds.

(RIP Our Gale Force Wind Beauty)

Call it denial, but the staff here at Down Yonder are eagerly pretending that it's sunshine and rainbows outside. This little charade has been much easier since the early trickles of Spring/Summer 2010 stock has begun arriving in.

(We've got this one in black!)

Out first ray of sun has come from Natalie Wood's eponymous label Something Else. The label - which offers girls a culmination of high fashion and street wear at an affordable price - has brightened up our moods with colourful prints of purple, blue, and orchid.

(This one in stonewash grey is selling fast)

Entitled Sunrise of the Dancing Shadows, the SS10 range luckily also has some great trans-seasonal pieces to tide us through the last dregs of winter. Our favourite silky jacket pictured below is a great layering staple for a night out and won't blow the budget either.

(a lighter Spring alternative to a leather jacket)
