Recycle. Reuse. Radness.

Since the label's debut nine years ago, One Teaspoon has been known most notably for super easy and vintage inspired denim pieces. The Australian label is now taking things one step further with a denim range made entirely from pre-loved salvaged denim.

(Salvage Recycled Denim Shorts)

The entire SRD range has been recut, stitched and branded to bring you shorts and mini-skirts that look great but are friendly to our mother earth. Each little guy is slightly different from the next and has his own fading, colour and wear. The best bit about it is that second-hand denim equates to second-hand prices: saving the planet doesn't cost anything over ninety dollars.

(Cobra Bodysuit in Leopard Print)

We also have this AMAZING One Teaspoon leopard print body-suit which is perfect as the weather starts to warm up a bit (thank god). The in-built cups give a girl that little bit of extra shape and means we can all burn our bras like our mothers before us.

Leather Love from a Friend of Mine

Yup... It's finally here!

(Jagger Jacket & Wedge Laced Boots)

To say that Melbourne label Friend of Mine has been receiving a bit of anticipatory public interest would be an understatement. Let's be honest: we've been beating them off with a stick!

(Shambles Leather Skirt)

Nothing justifies a bit of fanaticism like the leather pieces seen in the label's debut collection, Opposites Attract. We haven't gone many a day without a fevered enquiry in to the cult Leather Wedge boots or the amazing Jagger Leather jacket with studs.

(Amelia Jacket & Wedged Zipper Boots)

Friend of Mine leather will go crazy. Come Down Yonder this week or give us a bell on 9826 5400 to reserve your very own little wardrobe friend.

Looking for Something Else?

Oh, Melbourne Winter. Why do you always give us the blues? The skies are pouring, our shoes are wet, and our hair is Farrah Fawcett-ed from gale force winds.

(RIP Our Gale Force Wind Beauty)

Call it denial, but the staff here at Down Yonder are eagerly pretending that it's sunshine and rainbows outside. This little charade has been much easier since the early trickles of Spring/Summer 2010 stock has begun arriving in.

(We've got this one in black!)

Out first ray of sun has come from Natalie Wood's eponymous label Something Else. The label - which offers girls a culmination of high fashion and street wear at an affordable price - has brightened up our moods with colourful prints of purple, blue, and orchid.

(This one in stonewash grey is selling fast)

Entitled Sunrise of the Dancing Shadows, the SS10 range luckily also has some great trans-seasonal pieces to tide us through the last dregs of winter. Our favourite silky jacket pictured below is a great layering staple for a night out and won't blow the budget either.
